A Video By Me :].....Anna

Hello!!
So I've recently acquired the Juno movie soundtrack (really late, I know) and this song, featured in the video, just happens to be one of my new favorites. Anyways, I was a little bored this morning...sooooo...I decided I would make this. :)
Enjoy!

Amanda

Something that i thought important to include in the Cooke Family blog...On the way home from our previous NC trip my parents made the decision to stop in Atlanta, GA to treat Amanda to an American Girl Doll Store trip. She was so exited and i thought that it was important that i shared this news along with really cute pictures. You could almost feel the happiness in that store ;)

(This one is my favorite <3)

There were dolls everywhere! (Disney Land for little girls everywhere)

Pretty sure she enjoyed it :)

The Carolina That Is North....

Hello My lovely Family and Friends!
I am so very sorry that i have not posted anything new lately, and as you know, our family has in fact recently gotten back from North Carolina. (!!!!) We went with two other families for the main reason of even going in the first place...the southeast vineyard church conference. :) The youth portion was super fun, i got to do a lot of sweet things I've never done before on the one hand (things like tubbing down a river, and finding out just how out of shape i actually was via. laser tag in the woods....that was pretty intense ;)) and on the other i had a really great time getting closer to God.
I also discovered, this being my first time to NC, just how pretty it is. Where we stayed, there were mountains pretty much everywhere. Just driving places i wanted to pull out my camera and take pictures.
Though pretty much all of the people attending the conference stayed near the building in a hotel, we chose another route. The place we stayed at (yes, all three of our families) was the highest house on a moutain side and had an amazing view out the front windows. No joke.

With about 6 bedrooms, there was more than enough room ;)
And just one more thing, something that i included in the video, something i really enjoyed and was really scared go down was Sliding Rock. For those of you who do not know what Sliding Rock is, it is a (very large, very smooth) waterfall that you..wait for it...slide down! The water temperature is about 50 degrees year round! Something very hard for Floridians to get past. I was so scared to do it but when you get half way up the line and realize that there are 6 year old's going down it by themselves...you kinda have no choice. In the end i was happy i did it.

Oh, and heres a waterfall down the road we stopped to swim in afterward. I actually touched the back of it! Gorgeous! :)

All in all. this trip was great. I love north Carolina and would be more than willing to visit again any day. I hope you enjoy my video! :)

Our Movie!

So today, instead of watching TV or using the computer we decided to make a movie :). I felt very accomplished for being the director if this (i think) pretty freaking sweet "Ok Go inspired" project, mom was pleased that we were out of the house, Amanda was thrilled to be doing something fun, and Josh was a tad bored (though i think he had more fun than he let on ;)). In the end we all felt like this was a great choice of activity for a summer afternoon. Enjoy!
